How can I get my cellphone service provider to give me a better deal ?

They are charging me an additional $50 because a bunch of spam got forwarded to my cellphone…
and won’t cut me a break on crap that served me no good !!!
they are bizzillionaires and I’m on a very strict budget…
I have been with them for 6 years, but the competition is starting to smell a bit sweeter…
… any advice, tips, technics ???
